So…on this one I was asked to do a redesign keeping in mind that on the front page there be links for donations and action links (enrolling, etc.)…This is my kind of concept redesign for websites. I am more into clean corporate designs that incorporate Web 2.0 layouts. Also, to compliment the design. I thought it would be a great idea to have a mobile side to the website for a sort of instant gratification with donations and for enrollment on the spot. Especially with all the new developments with mobile applications and all…feel free to comment on the blog…

ANALOG BLACKBOOK ENTRY 1: JUSSRAY PIECE 1
Posted: July 9, 2009 in culture, graphic design, illustration, visual designTags: Blackbook, Markers, Piece
Started to rock some pieces in my blackbook. This is the first of many to come.
Like an idiot I laid down my black outline first and then started to fill in with color. (What a mistake that was.) Then I proceeded to add a goofy character on top just make more fun and interesting.
The piece was done some basic markers I had around regular blue and red permenant markers and light blue highlighter pen. And a thick tip Krink marker and Bicks white out pen for the white highlights…
Let me know what you think…comment in the blog…

My good friend Mark Wales (G-CHILD PHOTOGRAPHY) is starting this great new site called thebreakofdawn.net. Basically he will come to your event and shoot it (for a small fee of course) and give you a disc with images. I don’t know all the details, but he could tell you more. All I know, he is very professional and great photographer. If you have an event you should definitely hire his services…

So, we were at this Jazz event for Exotic Adventure Travel magazine and I took some cool pictures of the musicians with my point and shoot camera and I thought it would be a cool idea to make the images black and white. I thought it made the images a bit stronger…
The feeling I got from these images when I finished was when you watch a professional musician in the music it look like the instrument (piano, drum, etc.) is playing them not the other way around…and its kinda like when you hear a song you really like…it’s like the song starts to take over and become a part of you…I could be just babbling…whatever…hope you enjoy…please comment on blog….
