Another round of Booker T Shirt designs.

Spec designs for famous jazz musician. I had to make a halftone of an online photo and then get creative from there.

Here a brochure design I did for an “Agency”. I like the colors and layout I cam up with. Very cool and it fits the whole exercise theme I was going for.

So, I decided to do another collaboration with a shortfilm maker overseas. He is more into the horror genre of films. I just want to work my creative muscle so I can produce awesome artwork with faster turnarounds.

Here is the original production photo…

Here is the Artwork I produced after…

…This a work in progress. I need to fix the title treatment and I think that will be it. He was very pleased with the results.

Here is a sneak peak of the short film…

Some cool product retouching I did back in the day. I miss doing it.

Very popular LA event. I asked one of the event coordinators if I could shoot. So I did.

I think the draw of this event was the theatrical concerted entertainment. There were people the in masks handing out exerpts of books and reading them to you as you pass by and different interactive stations and a themed bar. Not only was the main stage taken by a great female vocalist there was also a DJ on site. GOOD TIMES…

I have seen this design before….similar to Christian Audigier…Its more for MMA(Mixed Martial Artist) Guys…For these I did just basic photo retouching and took some vector art and manipulated it and positioned it accordingly…you would be amazed..not all artwork fits well together if you want it to look halfway decent…It came out pretty cool…

Ok…wow…I had to kill it on this one…there were several layers involved and I have to push and pull colors in and out of each layer…I mixed color from camera raw settings on tiff files which you aren’t supposed to do…and painted in and painted out colors I wanted using a Wacom tablet…It took me a couple hours to do…I am happy with the results…Let me know what you think…

Here…I had to clean up reflections on silver jewelry….sometimes the reflections would blend in the background so I had to use shadow/highlights to show details…

(Oh, Sidenote…I looked at Tiffanys and Debears for reference)

This was interesting…

Okay on this one I had clean up plastic jewelry….who knew see through and clear jewelry would give someone so many problems to clean up….It was challenging and fun…
