Did this really cool test shoot for Young and Noble clothing. Seems like a real promising clothing line. I dig the T-shirt colors…
Here are some samples of the photos in webpage…
So, about a week ago I got an invitation to the Syd Mead exhibition at the Forest Lawn Museum in Glendale.
I was excited to see one of my favorite artists in person. However, I didn’t know he was a part-time comedian too. The exhibit was nice. All his pieces had very vivid color and a hyper-realism to them. He spoke of principles in design and how to apply them to designing things for the future. One key word was “Retro-Futurism”.
Only thing was…the venue was kinda creepy…lol
But the 360 view at the top of the hill was awesome. I think I will go back and do some better shooting there.
Good times overall. Let’s see who I will meet next. Also, I think I will email to see if I can take pics at next venue. I slipped up on this opportunity.
I was commissioned to do a logo design for a new company called PhantEye (http://www.phanteye.com) which is short for phantom eye. So, I did a couple of concepts of an eye and here is what I came up with.
Then we decided to get down to some final design concepts.
Then finally…
I just want to take the time to create a posting that has all of my flyer artwork. I look forward to working on your project soon and thank you to those who allowed me to work on their projects.
More product from underground comedian Derrick Ellis. I was commissioned
to do logos for his snacks and and candy brands.
So, I decided to do another collaboration with a shortfilm maker overseas. He is more into the horror genre of films. I just want to work my creative muscle so I can produce awesome artwork with faster turnarounds.
Here is the original production photo…
Here is the Artwork I produced after…
…This a work in progress. I need to fix the title treatment and I think that will be it. He was very pleased with the results.
Here is a sneak peak of the short film…
