Spec Art Case File 000 : Photographer Dan Kutler

I started a freelance gig for photographer Dan Kutler. He sent me a nice Hi-Res photo to retouch and add backgrounds to. The problem I had with the photo was the hair. On the right side of the girl’s hair she had some odd flyaways in combination with attempting to knock out the busy background, so I just had the subject. It was challenging and I wish I could have delivered. I just wish she was shot on a solid background and had proper light so I could mask her out properly in Photoshop and then ad a good background to is. So, I did what I could with the image.
